AFCo Welcomes New Employees

We’ve recently added two new employees to the Automatic Feed team. Caleb Selhmeyer joined us in February and is now am AFCo field service technician after spending time training and learning from our service team.

Derek Faber, an experienced IT specialist, has joined our AIM department as a software engineer, bringing with him a keen interest in machine learning, AI and web development. Welcome Caleb and Derek!

Automatic Feed Company Golf League

Employees at Automatic Feed started their golf league on May 6^th. Participants will play once a week for 9 weeks. There are a total of 10 teams each consisting of 2 employees. This is great for team building and brushing up on some golf skills!

Coming Alive Exercise Challenge

As part of giving back to the community, Automatic Feed Company will be participating in the Coming Alive Exercise Challenge through the United Way of Henry County. The challenge runs from April 22 through May 19. Participants will be encouraged to exercise 20-30 minutes per day. Those that exercise the minimum number of minutes will qualify for prizes that are donated by the Henry County Hospital, Culligan Bottled Water, Campbell Soup Supply Company, and other weekly sponsors.

Ohio State Representatives Visit AFCO

Ohio Secretary of State, Jon Husted and House Representative, Rob McColley visited Automatic Feed Company on November 15th in Napoleon where they toured the facility and learned how the company also serves as a technology learning center, establishing the Northwest Ohio Learning Center for Manufacturing Sciences, in new partnership formed between Automatic Feed, Northwest State Community College and Napoleon Area City Schools in order to promote manufacturing in the area.

Daniel Helberg Promoted to Service Team Leader

Automatic Feed Company is pleased to announce that Daniel Helberg has been promoted to the position, Service Team Leader.

Dan was hired by Automatic Feed on February 25, 1980 – 37 years ago. For 15 years Dan worked in assembly and in 1995, Dan began working in the Service Coordination Team. Dan has developed close working relationships with many of Automatic Feed Company’s customers and has earned their respect as a very knowledgeable and talented service coordinator. They have come to rely on Dan’s years of experience and expertise in maintaining and repairing their coil handling equipment. We are certain that Dan will continue to grow the department and will be instrumental in grooming future service technicians to continue the reputation that the Automatic Feed Company service team has built.
