Tooling Tech Group (TTG), a leading provider of highly engineered tools and automated assembly equipment to a wide range of industries, has announced the hiring of Bill Jenkins as business development manager for its Die Cast Division, which produces tooling for the die cast and aerospace industries. Jenkins will focus on expanding existing business as well as seeking new customer acquisition, as well as creating synergy with the company’s other sales managers in the metal forming, composites, thermoforming and automation sectors.
“We are excited to have Bill join our team,” said Dave Graves, TTG Die Cast president. “His depth and breadth of experience across metal casting in a variety of industries, as well as his understanding of OEM and Tier processes makes him an excellent addition to our TTG team.”
Jenkins has over 30 years’ experience across the automotive industry where he has been OEM and Tier-One account manager for several companies supplying castings, wiring harnesses and hose/tube assemblies. Most recently, he was a sales engineer with Tier 1 and Tier 2 responsibility for Dynacast, a Form Technologies Company and one of the largest die casting suppliers in the world. He has a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in Agricultural Engineering and Economics.
The Die Casting Division of Tooling Tech Group has two facilities in Missouri and one in Georgia.
