BLM GROUP USA, a global leader in the manufacture of tube and flat sheet processing solutions, has announced the hire of Israel Arenas as the new product specialist for its press brakes and sheet laser machines. In this position, Arenas will be responsible for providing innovative flat sheet product solutions and support to customers to optimize their operations and improve productivity.
Arenas has over 18 years of experience in fabrication, process development and design, and product commercialization for the flat sheet metal industry. For the past eight years, he worked at AMADA AMERICA, INC. where he served as an engineer and consultant helping companies in the U.S. and Latin America to assess their production challenges and develop tailored solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Arenas has a specialized interest and experience in automation and IoT in sheet metal fabrication, focusing on the importance of data-driven decision making in manufacturing. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Tecnológico Nacional de México, with a specialization in Quality and Productivity.
