Ascential Technologies, a leading global provider of automated diagnostic, inspection, assembly and test systems and services across a wide range of industries, has brought on Eric Elder as its vice president of sales for its Test & Measurement Systems division and ADAS business unit in the Americas.
In this role, Elder will lead strategic and sustainable growth initiatives, spearhead business development, and build and nurture customer relationships in the automotive, technology and industrial sectors.
“Eric’s extensive background in sales, deep understanding of business integrations and technical expertise, positions him to drive growth and innovation as our newest vice president of sales,” said Erin Dillard, CCO of Ascential Technologies’ Transportation and Test & Measurement Systems divisions. “Beyond a solid track record, his entrepreneurial spirit and highly personable demeanor make him the perfect candidate for this role, and we are excited to have him onboard.”
Prior to joining Ascential Technologies, Elder spent 12 years with Fluke Reliability, most recently as sales director for North America. His career began in 2012 with PRUFTECHNIK Group as a field sales & service engineer, working closely with industrial and manufacturing plants to ensure the reliability of critical machinery. In 2019, following the acquisition of PRUFTECHNIK by Fluke, he played a pivotal role in business development and integration efforts. He also was instrumental in the acquisition of a company by Fluke in 2023, enhancing his expertise in change management and operational strategy.
Before his tenure at Fluke, Elder worked as a mechanic for Siemens VAI, where he gained hands-on experience with large-scale industrial equipment in the steel industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Maintenance Technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology.
