Tooling Tech Group (TTG), a leading provider of highly engineered tools and automated assembly equipment to a wide range of industries, has announced that Frank Silvagi has been hired as president of the Stamping and Engineering Division, consisting of the company’s Majestic and Die Cad brands. Silvagi will be responsible for finding and developing new business markets, growing offshore die capability, and refining operational systems.
“Frank has a proven track record of leading globally diverse operations and engineering teams at the automotive OEM and Tier companies as well as understanding of the technologies associated with metal forming processes,” said Lee Childers, Tooling Tech Group CEO. “We are excited to have him join our team and know it will benefit both our organization and our customers.”
Silvagi has over 30 years’ industry experience at developing global teams and driving global manufacturing and engineering strategies, as well as guiding organizations through international acquisitions. He has a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Lawrence Technological University (Southfield, Mich.), where he has also served as adjunct faculty, and a Master of Science in structural mechanics from the University of Michigan.
Silvagi will work out of Tooling Tech Group’s Majestic stamping facility in Macomb, Mich.
