Tooling Tech Group Completes Expansion of Washington, MO Facility

Tooling Tech Group (TTG) has completed a 21,000 sq. ft. expansion at its Plant 2 Washington, MO location at 423 W-Industrial Park Drive and one of three TTG facilities focused on die cast tooling, aerospace tooling, precision machining and die repair capabilities. The facility now has 61,000 sq. ft. and features two new 60-ton bridge cranes and a large double column bridge mill with a 70,000 lb. capacity. The company foresees hiring about 25 new employees at this location over the next 5 years, mostly for skilled trades positions such as die mechanics, die technicians and machinists.

Over the past two years, Tooling Tech Group has invested significantly in its Die Cast group capability. In addition to the Plant 2 expansion, the company has added a new high-speed 5-axis Hermle machining center, Mikron 5 axis machining center, Agies Charmilles EDM machine, a GOM ATOS Triple Scan high-resolution scanner and an Alpha Laser AL500 mobile laser welding system. Additionally, it has upgraded its (2) Fidia 5-axis machining centers with new service packs including advanced controls, drives, spindles, and other internal mechanisms, improving the overall equipment performance.

This location is ISO9001:2015, AS9100 and DD23454 Certified, as well as being a recipient of a Boeing gold Performance Excellence Award for the last six years.
